Pretty sure

I'm fairly certain that this is not what you meant when you enthusiastically said that you wanted to see pictures of our stuff in our house:

All-righty then! Back to it!

Also, Tim should be home ANY MINUTE to allow me a child-free trip to Costco! I have a brand-new french-door refrigerator to fill up. I can hardly wait!

Hope you had a great shopping trip! I'd love to get a new refrigerator! Enjoy! I'm still waiting for this one to die, but I'm sure it never will.

Also, you're so brave and honest to show us the pictures of your house with all the boxes. I still haven't taken pictures around our house because I still want to finish "settling in" first. 6 months later, no one knows what our house looks like.

I love these pictures SO MUCH. And you will, too, because you will be able to see how much work you've done.

Your house looks huge! Even with all that stuff. Why doesn't anything look recognizable to me?

A CHILD-FREE trip to Costco???!!! It's like Christmas in North Las Vegas.

Elizabeth - our house is huge. It's twice the size of our last one. Our furniture, what is left of it, looks pathetically small in here. Time to go shopping! Although, not at Pottery Barn like I so wanted to. After noting the damage done in this move, I have given up any notion of getting nice furniture until we never ever have to move again. I think this is also a good savings plan, since I doubt the never moving part will ever happen!

Carrie - it has been expensive, but fun to get all new stuff that we wanted. I fear that we'll never be able to go back from here. Sadly, we just figured out we have to get a new dryer, even though ours works fine. Our house is only set up for gas, and ours is electric. I hate the idea of only getting half of a set! Oh well.

I love it - your sense of humor, that is! And your honesty. :) Thank you for showing us your human side. I was beginning to think that you really were Superwoman. (Although you still may be)

I understand the half a set thing. We have a new washing machine, but still the old dryer. I'm looking forward to when it gives up so I can get a steam one! Oh well, can't afford it anyway and in the meantime, things seem to keep getting better!
