Disregard the mess, and pick a color

Kate's room is still in total disarray, mostly because I haven't purchased any additional furniture for her yet, beyond the prized red bed. Don't even ask about bedding at this point. I am undecided as to which color of wood looks better with the red: the light (crib color), or the dark (dresser color). Which one do you like best?

DARK! DARK! Definitely, DEFINITELY dark!! I think that looks great with it. It kind of anchors the red and makes the red the focal point without distracting too much!

I like the dark, too... but I'm generally partial to darker woods in general. I say the darker.

I'm no help because I like both. I thought the dark first, too, but I like the way lighter woods lighten up a room. You'll make the right choice!

I like the dark as well - I don't know why, but it just flows better. Just my opinion. :)

Just to continue my trend of disagreeing with every single person you know, I like the lighter one, just based on the pictures. But, then again, dark wood usually looks good and everything I own is dark. Which makes me a hypocrite.
