He scoffed, sighed, and maybe even rolled his eyes at me when I told him that we needed to start working on getting to Kate to bed by 8:00. He looked at the clock and said with incredulity, "It's 7:30." I know, I know, I said.
Now, it is 8:35, and they are just getting through story time, with songs still to be sung, and prayers still to be said.
Sigh. Daddies are suckers.

"Scoffed" or "rolled his eyes" while playing with the 2.5 year old on the brand new train set on the living room table, which she adored... "Its 7:30 and we have a brand new train!"
15 minutes on the "potty" followed by five more as my little girl decided she was gonna get that jellybean if it took all night dammit. (She gets a jelly bean if she pees on the toilet, and refused to go to bed until she managed to accomplish the task)
15 more minutes of stories and songs, while she got more and more goofy--telling me everything in the book was corn.
I am a sucker, a sucker for my girls.
You both are "suckers" for your girls and we're so glad. What a joy to enjoy parenting and be head over heels in love with your children along with you! Glad we're on this journey together! Love you!
You two are adorable.
We have the opposite problem. I have to tell John that 6:30 is really just too early to be putting Becca to bed! :)
I LOVE Tim's response. You guys are too cute!
